Episode #1233

[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

Setup:

Bramwell was worried when he saw his eccentric Aunt Sarah coming downstairs.  Usually she stayed  in her room all day, and if she had come out, it could only mean that...

"...it could only mean that he was about to be subjected to a song about Liverpool Barge!!"

It was time for another flashback

   Probably!!     

Though it might have been very interesting if an adult Sarah had been a part of the story. But we'll never know at this point...

 

I wonder which one of the DS ladies would have been cast as adult Sarah.

( I don't know. In 1841 Sarah would have been about 54 so they may have needed to cast a new actress. Though it would have been a hoot if Paula Laurence had played her. Can you even imagine Grayson/Julia interacting with Paula/Sarah?!)

That would have been a gas! And it would also be a riot to see the new Sarah interact with Frid as Bramwell.

If they fudged around with the age, as they frequently did, Sarah could have been Alexandra Moltke's DS comeback part.

(  There were so many opportunities for AM to return - but NOOOOO - DC would only allow her to play Vicki!!  )

And he lost Joel Crothers for the same reason, though it certainly worked out to Joel's benefit when he was let go from DS. He worked his way up to romantic lead on Somerset and Edge of Night, which was not going to happen on DS. Yet, DC continued to find new characters for Roger Davis to play. I guess that he saw something in Roger that escaped the rest of us.
