[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

Setup:

Quentin and Morgan had it all figured out.  Once an hour during the night, Quentin would knock on the door of the Room.  If Morgan knocked back once, it meant he was insane.  If he knocked back twice, it meant he was dead.   And if he knocked back three times, it meant...
