Barnabas used the I-Ching to travel to the past, sending his astral-self to 1840 to possess his own body.  He returned to the present in that body.  So what happened to his body sitting in a comatose spell?

Didn't Barnabas go into the I-Ching trance in the Old House drawing room? Wasn't he afraid someone might drop by? And just how does a vampire sit in a trance for months? Did Willie move him to a dark room? Or just cart him back and forth every morning and every evening like some bizarro version of Weekend At Bernie's?

You got to feel for poor Willie. Looking after I-Chinged Barnabas and Vampire Roxanne, in her chained up coffin behind the bookcase. At least until she vanished. Or ceased to exist. Or whatever happened when 1840 Roxanne bit the dust (literally). Willie was undoubtedly a serious alcoholic by this point.  [8285]
