I'm not sure that I believe that year because I seem to recall that both Grayson and Lara had sons the same age and Matt Hall was 9 years old in 1967. Lara would have to have given birth at age 16 to have a 9-year-old then.

That is the correct birth date for Miss Parker. Her son Rick was younger than Matt Hall by about 4 years.

Certainly not impossible, but not as common back then as it is today. maybe Grayson wasn't the only one who played tricks with her birthdate. Or maybe I'm just an old skeptic.  ;-)

Don't quote me but I believe it read that Lara's son was adopted??

Sorry,  I think you have it wrong. In KLS's MY SCRAPBOOK MEMORIES OF DARK SHADOWS, She writes about a photo of Lara, her husband, and " their newly adopted baby daughter" on the first page. Lara has three children-two boys and a girl.

Perhaps none of her children are adopted. There is no way to get a correct answer except directly from the individual.  I don't think this is an appropriate question to ask at a Festival or for that matter to ask her at all. It really is not anyone's business but Miss Parker's and her family.

Lara Parker has discussed her family at the festivals and in fanzines.  Her two sons are from her first marriage and her daughter is  adopted. She and her husband were there when the biological mother was giving birth.  I agree with you - that kind of information should be volunteered (as it was) and not asked.  But she has discussed this aspect of her private life before in public.
