I was rather surprised when KLS seemed to imply that she and Grayson didn't work closely together.  When asked to share her memories of working with Grayson, she claimed that, other than when they filmed the movie and when Maggie was admitted to Windcliff, they didn't share a lot of scenes together. I guess Josette and her Aunt Natalie weren't very memorable?

I felt so guilty when KLS only talked about Julia and Magda.  RJ, ever on the ball, asked for recommendations of a good Josette/Natalie scene as well as a Karlen/Grayson scene.  Bette and I told her where to find the latter (classic Magda!), but in lieu of any scene suggestion I made a snarky comment about the former because I'm just not what you'd call a big KLS fan.  The Carl/Magda scene made it into the retrospective, and when KLS failed to recall her character's Aunt Natalie, I turned to Nancybe and said oh crap.

I would have suggested a scene between Maggie Collins and Hoffman from the 1st week of Parallel Time 1970.  Maggie asks where Ange's bedroom was and Hoffman looks as if she's remembering seeing God and says something like "it faced the sea... the sun always seemed so much bright there..." And Maggie snaps, "Only you could turn an answer to a question into a testimonial."

I think it shows both actresses at the top of their game...

  Perhaps this is true.  I am not the biggest fan of KLS either so hopefully if they do a tribute next year they will get an actor who was close to Grayson! Jim Pierson can you hear me??  DAVID SELBY!  According to him she took his hand and helped him a lot in his first months on Dark Shadows!

Glad you enjoyed it Julia.  I mean no malicous towards KLS as it's just my opinon!  I really enjoyed Karlen's comments though!
