According to TV Guide critic Matt Roush, when the question arises as to how many vampires one is supposed to care about these days, the answer is that all one really need be concerned with are the vamps and witches and wolves of The Vampire Diaries.

And yes, Matt, I have to agree that TVD "moves like wildfire."

I love and watch both shows (though I'm behind four eps with Supernatural) - but let's keep in mind that TVD pulls in more viewers - and it has been doing that ever since its debut.  [a2a3]

the episode the other nite was actually pretty damn good, don't you think? i didn't expect that dude to come back to life after being staked, well until the camera zoomed back on him i didn't expect it. than i saw it coming. plus it was nice to see Stefan & Damon to get along better.


i hope that continues throught the season at least. hopefully the series but since it's just the 2nd season i say season.

I enjoyed TVD vs SPN! For me I am more invested in SPN at this point but if TVD was six years in it probably would be vice versa.  I am enjoying TVD so much more than I was thankfully.   It takes a lot for me to give up on a show so I am glad I started loving it again.
