 [pointing-up]  [a1f5]  And your encyclopedic mind for song lyrics strikes again!! And in a very clever way, too!!  [thumbleft]

It took me some seconds, but I finally figured out the song. And it probably took that long because back in the day I thought that was an OK song - though I will admit that it has grown on me through the years. Must be the nostalgia value.  [wink2]

I wasn't much of a Sam the Sham fan back in the day. I came to appreciate it much more when Joan Jeff covered it on her Bad Reputation album. Plus, the 90's band L7 took their name from the song.

And, last and probably least, the YouTube video of the original is fascinating. Like roadkill. Not all that good but still somewhat compelling.
