Overall, I liked Chris's transformation scenes a bit better then Quentins.  Although both were very good.  I liked all that stuff involving the pentagram, etc.

Just saw The Wolfman (and bought disk afterwards) with Benny Del Toro.  what a great movie and very reminicient of Dark Shadows as it's set in 1891, reminded me of 1897 story line.    and the fact that the wolfman was "a wolf who walked like a man" make up, no the cgi distorted dog type of werewolf!.

enjoyed it thouroughly.

Count me in on being a fan of the remake. I absolutely adore the original, action figures of Larry and Bela have pride of place next to Quentin and Barnabas on my shelf, but I also really loved this new version. The costumes were gorgeous and the scenery was breathtaking. The extended scenes did a LOT to flesh out the characters vs. the theatrical version which cut them to get to the transformation scenes quicker. (Because people are all about special effects and not characters and plot apparently).

Well, Arashi, i guess those people wouldn't have been Dark Shadows fans then!    [ghost_tongue] to "those people"!

seems audiences these days can't sit in a movie more than 88 minutes.

Suits keep talking about "people" and "The average movie goer" and what they expect out of movies, but I myself have never met any of these "people" or understand them!

I'm with you Arashi..it's hard to comprehend where all of the 'info' comes from to make determinations about demographics.  It's beyond me.
