Well at least his voice as Spock's father Sarek.

Unfortunately, this one looks like it was copied from a theater screen (but it features the most from Cross):

Ben as Sarek and Winona Ryder as Amanda. . now .there's some unexpected casting.   [snow_rolleyes]

You know I was just thrilled last year when I found out that Ben was gonna be playing in this movie.  He has aged, but it' doesn't seem like he has 28 years since I last beheld him on DS.  He is holding up well! :)  I saw another promo that featured him and not just his voice! :) [snow_grin]

I was in Borders last month flipping through a magazine that had an large article about upcoming movies, and when I got to Star Trek, I was surprised to find a picture of Cross and Ryder as Sarek and Amanda rather than one or more of the other actors. But then I thought maybe the editors figured no one who reads their magazine would have any idea who most of the other actors in the cast are.

Apparently Cross is in the first trailer that I linked to, but that version is so blurry that I didn't even catch him. There's a much better version on the IMDb:

(Watch for the countdown to reach 1:05 during Cross' voiceover)

(And speaking of the IMDb, we should only be so lucky that there might be even half as many trailers posted for the Depp/DS film as there are for ST.  [pray])

That was a typo. However, I am not good at math but I know that it wasn't 28 years ago.  I would have started watching DS at 3!   [snow_grin]

Three-year-olds should be watching DS. It's best to indoctrinate new fans early.  [snow_wink]
