Director Howard Zieff just passed on at 81:
he directed Thayer David in Hearts of the West (1975)
and House Calls (1978)
Zieff's other credits include The Main Event (1979) which starred the legendary Barbra Streisand, who worked with David Selby in Up the Sandbox~~Babs is believed to have been a DS fan.
