I keep coming back here periodically.  It's very strange.   Anyway, what's JC doing in that shot exactly I wonder?      It's like he ripped a bag in half but not completely, then found some hunk of something-or-other that he felt a great need to pick off of it, maybe a nice piece of Halloween candy corn, and he stopped halfway in the dressing process to do this.

Considering it was about 40 years ago and (at least where I live) the plastic grocery bags hadn't made their appearance yet, I think it looks like he's removing a white dress shirt from its packaging. 

He really had gorgeous eyes.  I would cast my vote for best looking in favor of David Selby though.
