i doubt alexandra went commando...

i re-watched this scene as well and there is some sort of indeterminate undergarment "briefly" visable.

this reminds me of the recent brouhaha over a tabloid photograph of amy winehouse supposedly wearing a diaper underneath a dress.

In fact, in the future, "The View" will become a program entirely devoted to in-depth video coverage of any humans still foolish enough to think they can outwit the crotch police.

Well, that would seem to imply that 1) not wearing underwear is foolish, and 2) there should be such a thing as the crotch police - both of which I would argue against. And I can't say I see any panties either.
