As the subject header says, I will be on vacation for most of next week.  I am leaving rainy western New York for rainy Portland, OR.  Depending on the reliability of my VCR and how tired I am when I get back, I may or may not be doing Idle Thoughts on next week's episodes  8)

Have a wonderful trip.  I will be vacationing also.  We head out Sunday for Orlando.  Road trip.  I think I convince the hubby that the T.V. does not have to be unplugged and to let me set up the VCR.

Having just returned from my vacation, facing work again tomorrow, I wish both Birdie and Luciaphil a wonderful time in their travel.  I was wondering if plane travel would be a real hassle now, but it wasn't any worse than it used to be, and although some people were "wanded" and we had to show our licenses constantly for ID purposes, everything went smoothly--and the planes were all on time!

I wish you lovely ladies as great a time as I had in San Diego!

I finally finished that final paper that had been hanging over my head and was looking forward to having more time here on the board (not that much more time) --and planned to make the journey over here to your Parallel Time board  :D -- only to learn you'll be gone. How disappointing!

You too, Birdie.   :)  Your husband is probably right about unplugging the TV in case of lightning or sudden power surges ... but I sympathize!
