As a friend mentioned, he and Harrison Ford are the same age, so the problem the media has is likely in the pairing of the former (Selby) with a woman his own age and not the latter (Ford) with women 20+ years younger.  Clearly, it does not consider HF an old man, or LucasFilm would not have cast him in the final adventure of Indiana Jones.
Your friend is terribly astute.  [hall2_grin]

MTV doesn't even want old people watching them which is why I didn't see this in the first place.

Selby - Old? Nevah!!!

I pity people who decide that there's some kind of an age/time limit for enjoying life in any way...they don't seem to realize they're painting themselves in a corner.

Looking back on it, I think Louis' little routine gave me an art class flashback...I don't know where they (my University) got their (male) models but, most were about half his age and none in nearly as good shape.

On a related AMC topic, there is an article about Walt Willey who plays Jackson Montgomery on All My Children, for some 20 years now, but before that Walt had a few under five bits on the show, and he says that during those early appearances he shared a dressing room with Louis Edmonds, which thrilled Walt as he was a big Dark Shadows fan.  Walt also said in the article that Louis used to grow some pretty potent pot up in Martha's Vineyard, and that Walt was warned by Louis to sit down before he took a puff!! Mr. Edmonds was quite a characer, no, but also as we know a lovely man...

Um, it wasn't on Martha's Vineyard Miranda, it was in his own 'secret garden' (how he described it) at his home The Rookery on Long Island.  In fact, he told us a very amusing story about it when we visited him there in 1998.    [hall2_grin]

Unfortunately, the owner of that vid no longer has an account with YouTube, and the email address in their profile on the Forums is hidden (the account here is currently inactive).  If they see this thread, maybe they'll contact you.  I don't know what else to tell you, sorry.
