It's been rumored that [spoiler]Vicki's getting killed off revelation during the Leviathan storyline[/spoiler] was Dan's idea because he was mad at Alexandra for refusing to come back on the show. If this is true, surely he had to have known this wouldn't make the show's audience very happy especially since Vicki had been a most popular characater but he clearly didn't care. It sounds like Dan's vindictiveness overshadowed his common sense (assuming this WAS the case).
