SIGNATURE SEANCE

Let's put ourselves at Collinwood as a visitor of the Collins Family, who is interested in the family history (does that have a familiar ring to it). You are both experienced and interested in conducting a seance.  Which spirit do you wish to contact and why? Where would the ceremony take place?  Which characters would you pick to participate with you? (Selections from any of the storylines are acceptable-keep the number of participants to about six) Just have fun with this one!

Just for the heck of it, I would choose to contact the spirit of "the original Barnabas Collins."   As a newly-arrived visitor to Collinwood, I would actually be naive enough to buy the story that he went to England.  The seance would take place in the drawing room as usual, and this time I would make sure to have David, Amy, and any other child on the premises take part in it. Children are very powerful sensitives, and I'm sure that they would aid greatly in making contact with the great beyond.  Vicki has also been successful at contacting the dead in the past, so I would invite her, and of course Professor Timothy Eliot Stokes the expert would have to be on hand.  It would be fun to see which spirit, if any, would actually show up...

The spirit contact is Noah Gifford. In 1795, he tried to murder Daniel Collins. The seance is being held at the cemetery where Noah died on top of Jeremiah Collins grave. It is a very stormy night. Present are:

Harry Johnson - Mistaken for and believed to be the reincarnation of the contact.

Victoria Winters - Killed the contact in 1795 after arriving in that time period during the last seance. Is sure he is haunting her.

Mrs. Johnson - Just wants to know what Harry is up to tonight and why Victoria is so afraid of him.

Nicholas Blair - Warlock and eager participant in all things dealing with the occult.

Adam - A created Monster Man, wants to learn more than reading and writing poetry.

Carolyn Stoddard - Missed her date with Tony Peterson, decided to hang around Adam for the evening.

I would like to make contact with a couple of spirits.
One would be The Countess Dupre. Since nothing much was said of whatever became of her after all the incidents at Collinwood, I'd be curious to know what happened to her. I'd most likely include Julia, because of her curious nature, Vicky of course, since she's gotten to be an old pro at these things, and probably Roger Collins,(Gotta have at least one Collins member present) I think the appropriate place would be the drawing room at Collinwood, since that's the last place we knew she was. It would be interesting to know what her life was like.

Another spirit I would like to contact would be Charity Trask. When Count Petofi supposidly died in that fire, Charity was still under the possession of Pansy Faye. I would love to know what adventures her life underwent after we left her. We know it probably was exiting compared to the life she led as Charity Trask. I would have it in the old house since that is where the original Pansy Faye died. I would include Carolyn, because of the resemblence,Prof.Stokes,because of his expertise in the occult,and Quentin since he knew her firsthand. Maybe her & Magda got together and decided to join a caberet act together!![ideab]

Assuming none of us already knew the answers to all our questions, we really wouldn't know WHO to summon, would we?

In that case, I'd hope for the Spirit of Ben Stokes to show up....he knew just about everything that happened to everybody and lived to tell the tale!!

Any of the Usual Suspects would be welcome to participate....just so long as Willie Loomis was sitting where I could hold his hand in the dark!!

I would have a seance at the Old House and contact the ghost of Josette, then I would ask her why Maggie Evans looks just like her.

I would summon Daphne [duh] and ask her WHY THE HECK SHE MARRIED BRAMWELL!!!!

I would invite Carolyn...eeee...and ... umm ... Quentin? Can I do that? LOL and WILLIE and almost everyone but Barnabus. Maggie can even come! OoOoO and I'll make Carolyn and Joe sit next 2 each other and hold hands..... heheheh
