Of Kate and Chiller

I attended Chiller Theater yesterday, with the intent of meeting and getting an autograph from Kate Jackson. It did not happen for me. The line to meet her went from down the hall and around the corner to the outside. It was going to be at least a two hour wait. I simply do not have the patience or the stamina to stand in line that long anymore. Those who did meet Kate said that she was friendly and chatted with each fan. She said that she was "open" to attending DS events. We will see about that.
The weekend went well otherwise. I got to spend some time with Karen Valentine, Judy Strangis from Room 222 and Deidre Hall. I also got to spent some quality time with Geri Reischl, best remembered as the Fake Jan Brady from The Brady Bunch Variety Hour and The Brotherhood of Satan. Geri's table was next to TLATKLS, so I also got to visit with her for a bit.
I also ran into several forum members who have not posted here in awhile. Jimbo, JVjr., Evan Hanley and Charles Ellis. I also saw a few faces that I recognized from the festivals.
Kate proved to be a very popular guest, so I would not be surprised if she returns to Chiller (or other conventions) at some point.
