  Vickie confronts Richard Garner. He claims to know nothing. Vickie meets his handsome son Frank and relates her woeful past. He promises to help her in her quest. Vickie goes back to dine at the hotel. Burke joins her and offers to return her to Collinsport. Frank comes and reveals he’s learned nothing. Frank seems enthralled by Vickie.  The elder Garner call’s Elizabeth and tells her not to worry about Vickie.  This seems to reveal that Elizabeth knows the truth as does the elder Garner.

I still think it’s too bad that they didn’t go with the Betty as the Victoria’s mother.  Maybe Victoria was a half sister and the sent to the foundling home because Betty couldn’t take care of her.  (I don’t remember who Elisabeth dad is, so not sure if it works with continuity as we know it.)

Oh, what if a woman from parallel time crossed into the main timeline and The butler pretended she was his daughter thinking she was on the run from an abusive husband. 

Oh well  . . . Still a good episode even with Vicky’s hopes for answers dashed.
