All Liz can come up with is the storm cellar (note that there's no basement at this point in time).
Were there storm cellars in Maine in 1966? (Actually, in mid 1700's, because that's presumably when the Old House was built.)
Basements, yes, but storm cellars? Does anyone know this about New England architecture?
