After Quentin rescues Amanda from falling through a rope bridge, Amanda is crushed to death under falling debris.

I just have to say it.

::laughing out loud:: OMG! While it does kind of cast a cool shadow on the wall.... I think I made that same spider out of styrofoam & pipe cleaners in kindergarten.

Perhaps Nicholas brought this rather outlandishly large variety spider with him when he moved in.  Before he had the Devil's territory east of the Rockies, he may have been in Mexico or South America, where he could have picked up such an oversize pet!  Most likely, though, the set decorator went overboard at the craft store with a styrofoam ball and, as you say, Arashi, pipe cleaners. ::)

There is nothing more terrifying, more threatening to the human body and soul, than a styrofoam ball and some pipe cleaners.    A whole regiment of styrofoam balls and pipe cleaners attacked us in the Crimea, and we barely escaped with our lives.
