Julia: It's a little known fact that another Collins was possessed when he came out of his night in the Room.  But soon after that he became insane or dead - I don't remember which, but everyone was very much relieved - after his wife nobly sacrificed herself by throwing herself from a tower room window!! Not that I'm necessarily suggesting that to you.
