I have not a pic but I do have a description of myself, which is not too vague. I am in the west coast. I started to watch DS when I was about seven. If ya really need to know, I started to watch the show when it first start and Barnabus was not even in the mind. I am an average male and I am maried. Both my and I are children of DS. I loved the genre of the show and I guess that is where my inspiration for my books came from.
I do not want to bore you with a bunch of crap but I am as mundane as a person could get. I am certified massage therapist and an announcer of local events. My public speaking is mainly a fad that I went through. I do more conversing on paper and on the web than anywhere else.
I could be lengthy in my conversation but that is because I do not know when to stop. But as I see my wife coming at me with those red eyes,I know now I need to finish. I wish you all well and may Barnabas and the rest of the gouls be within your thoughts always.

It's interesting reading about everyone.

I'm in my early twenties, and I share a birthday with Lara Parker. I'm living in the south right now, but I'm originally from OH, and I'm moving back there this summer. Moving was a mistake on my part, but it forced me to take a good look at myself and my life, so I think something good will come out of it at least.

I love to write - stories, poems, songs...anything. I'm going back to school (college) after I move, and writing is something I want to pursue. It's funny because I can express myself very well through writing, and I'm uncomfortable with talking on the phone. I also love to collect - mostly figures and dolls (TV, movies, etc), but I've collected a variety of DS items that I love.

My mother introduced me to DS (thank you, Mom ) - I love Barnabas, she loves Quentin. I've had fun watching episodes with her. My parents used to tease me about being a vampire because I'm a night person. I'm much more motivated at night than I am during the day. I love fantasy and the supernatural. I'm single and I enjoy it - some of my friends and family members would say I enjoy being single too much.

I'll post a picture in a few days....I know I have a recent one around here somewhere.

Here I go again and I guess that I could allow you into my mind, sort of. I am a fanatic of the vampire genre, I even wrote a short about a family of vampires. I love the unexplained and I try to re-explain the explained but I put a twist to it. I could say that I have dabbled into writing about all aspects of the paranormal. I am not sure if I have dabbled in all that there is but I have sure tried.
I would die a happy man if I could once visit the original estate of DS. Since I live here in sunny California, I find it hard to take time to travel to all of the DS conventions. I am in awe with all who do attend. I find you all very intriguing.
Thank you all for your stories and ideas. I am happy to be among you all.

Well, I guess I'm a misfit artsy eclectic neurotic wench-type who's on the road to getting her degree(s).  More curious than a cat, love solving a good mystery (at my own pace - lol). Love music of all kinds, classic films (and a handful of the newer ones). I absolutely *adore* baking and cooking; always learning, trying out and adapting recipes. Second-generation DS fan, but I think I know and obsess about it more than anyone else in my house does (LOL...  )

Well.....sigh...I hesitated but....okay, here's me (taken about a year ago--can't find a more recent photo at the moment. I know one is here somewhere {shuffling the organized mess that is my desk}):

Hmm... Barnabas's Bride looks shockingly like a young version of my co-writer of Dreams of the Dark, Elizabeth Massie. Wonder if there's some kind of premature reincarnation thing going on here...

I live in London, drink too much coffee and work as a graphic designer.  Kinda by a curious mix of fate and luck, a lot of my work is illustrating books and CD covers for my other big fandom love, "Doctor Who". Which is nice.

Yes Connie.  That was Toby's (The little one's) first day at our house.  We got him from a shleter in September and he's adjusted quite nicely since then.

For those who don't know me, I've watched DS since the 80s when I was 5 and started attending fests with my dad who passed away in 2001.  However, I have continued to attend and brought my then fiancee last year.  I will be bringing him as my husband this year and he's getting into DS.  He's a very big fan of Lara Parker.  Some of the girls on here know what he said to my friends after meeting her.  It's "interesting" to bring a complete outsider into a world I've known for pretty much my whole life, but it makes me feel good and I think helps him to understand me.  My other interests include scrapbooking, Will & Grace, Mad About You, Musicals, my puppies, and guilty pleasure reality shows: Real World, Osbournes Ashlee Simpson.....shhhhhh! :-)
