THe Dark Shadows Festival is looking for volunteers to assist with the 2005 festival in Hollywood, California - DARK SHADOWS HOLLYWOOD WEEKEND 2005
July 29, 30 & 31, 2005.
Volunteers are needed for a minimum of two hours (you can volunteer for more than one block of time if you wish). Assignments include monitoring the entrances to the all the Festival rooms that are holding activities such as performances, Question and Answer sessions, the dealer's room, etc. Monitoring involves checking name badges (to ensure admission has been paid), working at the information booths, assisting in setting up tables and chairs where needed, running errands within the hotel for the festival, and assisting with crowd control during high volume events such as the autograph lines. For those who are visually or physically challenged, there are assignments for you as well.
Those who want to volunteer will receive the tentative Festival weekend schedule when it becomes available (via email unless you direct otherwise) and then you can decide what time you can make yourself available to volunteer. Volunteers will gather for a Saturday night party at the hotel which will feature some fun videos, snacks, and usually one or two of the DS actors come to the party as well.
