...that celebrates the childhood experience of watching DS:

I have fond memories of a childhood, almost bucolic in its richness and textured by such TV gems as Dark Shadows (which I would watch with my dad), I love Lucy, Mission Impossible, Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie. I suspect that these television shows, along with an early introduction to books from the library, have played a significant role in awakening my imagination (a writer's most treasured possession) and making it soar. To all the actors and TV show concept creators, who have unknowingly influenced me, I owe a debt of gratitude.

The article was from Sunday's paper, so perhaps the site moved it to another Web address or maybe even dropped it entirely. However, the paragraph that I quoted was the only part that mentioned DS.
