Sharon has posted on her Facebook page that her beloved Mom has passed at age 99.
Mrs. Smyth had been living in a nursing home and was confined to a wheelchair, so this is perhaps a blessing.
Sharon says she's grateful to have had her mom as long as she did.
When Sharon was on DS, and in all her acting gigs, Mrs. Smyth was always with her. When Sharon decided she didn't want to do it anymore, her mom supported that decision.
