Watching today's episodes, I was struck by how attractive Jerry Lacy is, something that isn't especially apparent when he's playing the Trasks. He has a surprising amount of charisma and sex appeal as Tony Peterson, and it's a shame that D.C. and Company didn't look beyond the Trask "franchise" and use J.L. as a leading man/romantic interest more often.

John

I always felt Tony was the best boyfriend for Carolyn. She needed someone who wasn't fazed by her wealth, who could stand up for himself. Tony didn't put up with any crap from Carolyn, and I think she actually liked that about him. Their relationship is fun to watch, but of course, it's ruined by first Barnabas,
then Cassandra.
Love, Robin

Tony is my favorite of his parts, it was hard to go to disliking him as Trask. Though after playing a Trask or two, I kind of forgot that I ever liked him!

Jerry Lacy's transformation from Peterson to Trask was so effective that it wasn't until long after 1795 that I realized the same actor was portraying both characters.

Not only was the difference in characterization so great, but for a real shock, compare Lacy's work in the current episodes to his time as Gregory Trask to see how well he transcends his age.
