Melanie strangles as well as stabbing.   I liked Julia bursting out with: "Everyone in the family is dangerous!"   Morgan has to dispose of the body?   Julia managed with Flora last time...   To be fair though, family members ought to take turns with body disposal.   That's the way it was in our house.

Catherine: "My demons are in league with you."  I liked that.   Bramwell's pretty quick getting to the bedroom....  Hey you smiled slightly at me, off we go, chop chop.... it's too late to say no now....  Good scene.

Bramwell hears his cue, walks in just as minister delivers line about "If anyone knows any reason..."   Yes, this marriage will bring happiness and gumdrops to the family.

We start off with another great voice over by JF.

Wonderful scene with Bramwell and Catherine! He hardly has to do anything to seduce her, does he. Too bad he doesn't get her into the bedroom, since Morgan is busy burying poor Stella. Best quote from Catherine to Bramwell: You know me so well, better than I know myself! You are a demon, and the demons in me are in league with you!

Very sweet scene with Kendrick and Melanie. It's almost certainly her first kiss ever, let alone probably only her second conversation with a man who is not a relative. Awww.... Too bad she may have murdered Kendrick's sister. Then she runs back to Collinwood to have a good cry in that most private of places, the drawing room. Luckily the only person who finds her is Bramwell, who treats her with a gentleness he shows to no one else, not even Catherine.

Morgan is so mean, first to poor little Melanie, then to Bramwell. He makes a very, very bad winner.

Great cliffhanger ending!

Almost forgot to mention the teeny cameo by Emory Bass (last seen as Mr. Best) as the minister.

We got a fine soapy ending to carry us through the weekend.

Morgan has to dispose of the body?   Julia managed with Flora last time...
I suspect that Julia doesn't want anybody knowing about the unknown man whom she and Flora found, so she finds it convenient to pretend Morgan's their only hope.  And even if that's not the case, I don't blame her.  I'm betting that when Julia and Flora did the previous burial, Julia did nine tenths of the work while Flora flooded the grave with her tears.

Morgan is so mean, first to poor little Melanie, then to Bramwell. He makes a very, very bad winner.
Yup, we got a good look at Morgan's ugly side today.  I daresay that when he was mean to Melanie he was still in a sour mood from burying Stella, but knows very well that Melanie never has any memory of what she does when she's the other person, so it was really inexcusable of him to behave like that to her.  And then, when he was with Bramwell, Morgan sort of reminded me of Barnabas - giving the show away by gloating.

Catherine didn't see either of those instances of Morgan's meanness, but even if she had she would still insist on marrying Morgan.  All that stubbornness could be put to far better uses, surely.
