Thank you for the warning. It does tend to take one by surprise when they pop up. Better than rewinding the tape, sitting down with anticipation and finding a marathon of some stupid 80's program though!

I had no idea how much I preferred the black and white episodes until I caught the kinescope episode today.
THIS is what Dark Shadows is supposed to look like....if you never saw an episode in color until just this year!!!
It reminds me of gothic mystery movies from the 40's and 50's......

Color is best, but I'm glad for the kinescopes, better than nothing. Some are better than others. The sound is not too good on some.
