Remembering Craig Slocum
« on: September 12, 2002, 05:31:27 PM »
Craig Slocum passed away on September 12, 1978. He had diabetes, was only 38 years old. He is loved and missed. If you would like, you can add a flower for him on his memorial at,

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=5307782

For those of you who already have, thank you! I am sure Craig appreciates it. I pray for his peace and happiness where his spirit is.

Dear Cheryl,
I left a flower and note for Craig.  My mother had that awful disease, but thankfully she was in her 70's when she developed it and lived to be 83!

Where are they getting these bodies, Mulder,  are they making them?

Cheryl, I think the Memorial tribute for Craig Slocum is just beautiful. I had already left a message & flower there some time back but go there from time to time to check out the messages.  Craig is definetely smiling down at you from above and I think it's just great how you're keep his memory alive.  :-)

did he leave a family?

When I met Robert Rodan at the Dark Shadows Festival in June, he told me that Craig Slocum did not have children, so at the time when he was on Dark Shadows, he did not, don't know if he did later. How old is your son Jennifer? Happy Birthday to him! I saw all the notes and flowers left for Craig on his memorial. Very nice, I'm sure he is happy!

Chuck E. Cheese's is a fun place, that's where I had my daughter's birthday party in August, she turned 6. Her dad, his older daughter & grandkids, my Mom, my daughter's classmates, and I all had fun. I ate too much pizza and cake though. There was too much and we ended up bringing it home. Never again! That totally blew my diet.

Thanks for the warning!

You're welcome! I am trying to lose 50 pounds and let me tell you it is not easy! I never had a problem with losing weight until I became a Mom. When I was by myself, I didn't have to cook and bake, and buy all kinds of snacks, help!!

Cassandra, you are lucky your daughters are grown. I wish I had mine 10 years ago, don't have the energy to keep up with her!

Thanks Cheryl but believe me dealing with the teenage years is no picnic either.  When they were small, I couldn't wait for them to grow up, now that they've pretty much grown up,  I wish they were small again, lol!!  Now I know what more experienced mothers meant when they kept telling me to "enjoy them while they're young!" :-)
