Maybe Liz was showing her incompetence when she said "If only Roger were here." Yes, Liz, I'm sure he would have handled everything!
More evidence of why parallel time Liz is a poor relation while our-time Liz is running the family business. Is it nature that made the difference, or is it nurture?
Barnabas knows Maggie's hairbrush on sight?
Yes, that surprised me too, but it's probably quite an expensive brush, and Barnabas has been in Maggie's bedroom.
Hoffman was interesting to watch today. I believe she was genuinely sorry for Sabrina. And she was brave, walking into the drawing room when Yaeger could well have been there. I had the impression that Hoffman could have been quite a good person if Angelique hadn't twisted her. But of course, Hoffman consented to be twisted.
I liked the questions about what Yaeger and Sabrina were doing at Collinwood. It hadn't occurred to me until they were asked that nobody would have know that they had gone their separate ways after Elizabeth had seen them at the lab.
The writers dutifully threw in a line for Hoffman about Angelique not being around, but they didn't tell us where Angelique is.
