COMPARE THE CURSES

DS presents two very different women (Angelique and Magda)  in two different time periods (1795 and 1897) placing two different curses (Vampire and Werewolf) on two different people (Barnabas and Quentin). Which of the two curses is the most damaging to the individual and the people who love him?

[bawl]Magda's curse, because it was a curse down the generations.  All of Quentin's male descendants were supposedly cursed.  I don't remember Barnabus having any descendants, and while Angelique put a curse on his living family members, his descendants were not mentioned. In fact, she fixed it where everyone that Barnabus loved would die right away, so there could be no descendants. Can you imagine what Angelique would have done if poor B had had children? She would have been in a real rage and jealous as all 'get out'.  I believe Magda's curse was the most powerful.  Magda did not curse Quentin out of malice as Angelique cursed Barnabus, but out of a retribution for what Q did to her sister, and if I say more it will be a spoiler...

Indeed Magda's curse was far more damaging causing Quentin's progeny to suffer for what was clearly not their fault. :-

Interesting that the Werewolf curse is getting the votes...

I'll go ahead and vote for Barnabas and the vampire curse, just to be contrary...    Since he (presumably) needed fresh victims all the time, and the wolf only kills during the full moon...  Plus, Angelique's curse also doomed anyone Barnabas would ever love -- which was part of your criteria...

But actually, I thought the dream curse was the most damaging -- because I had to watch it!!  

Its hard for me to really say 'cuz I haven't seen the 1895 storyline except for a few MPI tapes but a few thoughts to occur--
It does go down the line which is sad,
Magda regretted what she did but couldn't undo it no matter how she tried which was sad . ..

but Q gets fixed and stays goodlooking for a century which is good. . .ain't it?

But then B's curse and Angie's venom infected a lot of people too .. down the line. . Naomi, Sarah, Josette, Jeremiah, Ben.. .Roger, David, Elizabeth, --the latter survive thankfully but still her curse seems to go down the line too. . .

Interesting that the Werewolf curse is getting the votes...

It gets my vote too, for doing the most damage.
