I think today's is the scariest episode of Dark Shadows that I recall seeing.  David and Hallie are old enough to know what death is, and what they appear to be facing is worse than death: being imprisoned in a dollhouse for eternity while other people occupy their bodies.   And furthermore, they're having to watch while their prison is prepared for them.  The music played, the lights came on, and there was a live man in the dollhouse.  I know that the music didn't really come from the dollhouse, and I know that the lights coming on was just a lightbulb or two on the other side of the dollhouse where we couldn't see it, and I know that there wasn't really a live man in the dollhouse.  It doesn't matter.  I was sure there was a tiny carousel inside the dollhouse, and when the lights went on, something jumped in my stomach, and when David saw the man, I was sure it was Gerard.

Julia kept talking about the clue of the destruction of Rose Cottage.  If Rose Cottage is destroyed, will David and Hallie be destroyed with it?

It's a pity Julia wasn't open to other possibilities when Sebastian played the carousel tune.  It could be that Sebastian had heard the tune psychically without realizing he had heard it until he reproduced it (not very well) on the piano.  But Julia had to attack Sebastian to move the plot along.  It really didn't seem like her.  Grayson Hall did her best - but it still seemed gratuitous.

Julia was unnecessarily snippy of course, but I thought it might be old early Julia re-emerging.   She and Barnabas really ought to be showing signs of the strain by now.

It's really fun Lydia, to me, when DS scares me.  It isn't often but there have been a couple episodes. 

Magnus I am surprised Barnabas and/or Julia have had nervous breakdown's. That actually would have been a great story arc for Julia and for Grayson to play. Alas....

Today's VO is very similar to yesterdays.  Is that the Naga Box sitting on the table in front of the fireplace?  Is that the Petofi box on top of the chi faro (SP)!?

I wonder if CP really plays the piano or if he learned this little tune for the ep?  Maybe I will ask him on Facebook. 
“Nineteen Ninety Fiiiiiiive!” Grayson cracks me up how she draws out her I’s.
I love when Julia calls people on their bullshit.  She may have been a bit harsh with Sebastian but she is a good BS detector.
During the fade in someone runs across the screen! HEH

AWESOME shot of Julia and Stoke with the staircase in the background, I had to take a picture of that one for my collection. I have to give kudos to the director and camera man.

There seems to be some sort of cut before the kids enter the room.  I would say it was to set up the final shot!

WONDERFUL EPISODE!! Spine chilling!
