Tripwire, there are some bugs still to be worked out (obviously!), but I'm glad you and the others were able to make it and hope you had a good time.  And my sincere apologies to Carol-- You logged off just as MB was trying to get you in-- and anyone else that experienced problems. :(

No apologies needed, Midnight. I was checking my email and other sites when I came back to Forums and finally saw the CHAT sign. That was around 11:15pm EST . It listed everyone that had signed on but that no one was chatting so I didn't bother.  I also noticed that the board was very slow last night getting from one topic to another.

I was tired(long day with family needs) so I just logged out and went to bed. Hopefully all is fixed so that the next chat will be easier for all of us.

Things are working much better tonight. Most of the problems so far have been from people who weren't sure how to get into the chatroom or how to type messages once they got in. A couple of later arrivals said the room was very slow for them, but that hasn't been the case with most. Unfortunately, slowness is a fact of life when it comes to some chat connections. :(

Now that the bugs seem to have been worked out during these two test chats, we should be ready to announce an official chat night very soon... [thumb]
