It turns out the interview was conducted back in March, so it didn't seem like they wanted to discuss Johnny's long range projects (brief mention of Lone Ranger and some about The Rum Diary but that was about it). Also, Douglas Brinkley (the author of the article) is a close friend of Johnny's and it seemed like they wanted to make the article more personal instead of nuts and bolts.
I loved the article and the photos, especially the one of Johnny playing a guitar (I run a website about Johnny's music so I always love more music stuff). But it also gave me a weird feeling because the lifestyle is so many magnitudes different than anything I'd ever experience
What a life!
