Apparently it must run in the family because Carolyn seems to be a cluesless as Barnabas was when it comes to taking care of Adam.  She sees his interest in reading, so why not get him some learning books like the Professor did, something that he can understand more.  Well one thing is for sure, at least with Carolyn he's now getting a nice big tray full of food instead of that one little chicken leg & measly bowl of soup he got back at the old house!!
