I know of a Benefactor who is not only Mysterioso, but *exceptionally* naughty. Ahem.
Poor dear Julia looks as if she just slipped an exceptionally BITTER pill into her own mouth. But then, Barn so often WAS a pill to our dear Doctor.
But actually, the quotes slideshow features captures taken from the eps during the moments when the individual quotes were being delivered, which is why sometimes the characters in the captures aren't even the characters being quoted. None of the captures are picked purely at my discretion - and as such, the expression on Julia's face as well as her positioning in the room were completely out of my control.
Though truthfully, I think the capture that I used was a perfect illustration of its accompanying quote. And so that everyone will still understand what's being discussed in this topic, here's the entry from the slideshow:
1967: Ep #340 - Dr. Hoffman: 'Murder isn't the answer.' Honestly, the capture that I was sure would get comments but was surprised when it didn't was the one for 10/12:
1967: Ep #339 - Roger: 'My late sister's latest brainstorm.' But again, I thought it was a perfect illustration of its accompanying quote.
"I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so...."
Well, certainly not in the way that song intended. At least I would hope the expression on her face would have been far more pleasurable if it had been.
If not, she would surely have been doing something wrong.
