**** DAVID SELBY - ADDITIONAL UPCOMING APPEARANCE
SG Update # 189 (Aug. 24) reported David (Quentin) holds readings and signings for his first novel "Lincoln's Better Angel" this month. More information follows..
--- An added event is a reading, discussion, and book-signing at the Harvard Coop in Cambridge at Harvard Square on Fri., Sept. 19, from 7-9 pm. The address is 1400 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA 02238. 617-499-2000.

Publicity for all his appearances: "Experience a special reading, Q&A, and signing by famed actor and author David Selby.... This is an opportunity to experience David's animated, passionate, and most entertaining rendition of his interpretation of his latest novel, an event not to be missed."

--- SG Update # 189 also announced David is the invited keynote speaker at the 275th Anniversary Banquet at the historic St. Peter's Episcopalian Church in Salem, MA, on Sept. 18, beginning with cocktails from 6:00-6:30.
The celebration banquet "will be held at the Hawthorne Hotel. Tickets are $45 and can be obtained from the Church office by calling 978-745-2291 or emailing

*** DS CLIPS SEEN IN HBO SPECIAL, "TRUE BLOOD-LINES: A NEW TYPE"
SG Update #188 (Aug. 4) announced scenes of Jonathan Frid as Barnabas would be featured in this special program connected to HBO's new drama series, "True Blood," The special examines TV and film vampires and the actors who have portrayed them. It includes DS footage.
"True Blood" is about contemporary vampires from all walks of life who can openly participate in daily society thanks to a new synthetic blood. The graphic series is for mature audiences only.
HBO lists airdates and airtimes for the special program as follows.
"True Blood-Lines: A New Type." Rated TV14. Running Time: 23 minutes.

*** UPDATING: DS AUDIODRAMAS
SG Update # 189 reported "Clothes of Sand" and "The Ghost Watcher," the new DS audiodramas, now are available from the DS Festival.
Correction: Update # 189 inadvertently gave the wrong prices. The 2-CD dramas are each $15 (includes p/h). SG regrets any inconvenience.
