I like some of the idea's that have been posted. Here's what my wife and I thought of for actors...

Ralph Fiennes=Barnabas.
Hugh Jackman=Quentin.
Katie Holmes=Maggie/Josette.
Jude Law=Jeff Clark.
Jennifer Aniston=Victoria Winters.
Fiona Shaw=Dr. Julia Hoffman.
Mandy Moore=Carolynn Stoddard.
Julie Andrews=Elizabeth Collins Stoddard.
Frank Langella=Roger Collins.
Tim Curry=Proffesor Elliot Stokes.
Christian Bale=Joe Haskell.
Gary Oldman/Kevin Bacon/Bill Paxton=Willie Loomis
Greg Wise=Burke Devlin.

There are many more to cover so I'll leave it with this for now.

....or Nicholas Cage as Trask??  ?!?

I like the British actor Ben Chaplin as a young Barnabas, esp. if the storyline was set in 1795 (anyone see him in "Washington Square?)....he has those dark, smouldering eyes that seems to pierce right through you <YUM!>  ;)

Yeah, I can see Cage being just quirky enough to pull it off.  And though Chaplin wouldn't be my BC, I can definitely see him in a DS movie.

It is my opinion they should find a New Barnabas in the same fashion the first was, I'm sure he is out there somewhere waiting to be discovered.

This should be an easy search, they have the original Barnabas as a template for the second. ;)
