I went to the fest alone this year and wasn't sure if I would enjoy it as much as last years. Last year my best friend and I went. He and I would run home from school together to watch DS so I thought what could be more fun than going to a DS fest together?

Going to a DS fest and meeting a bunch of new DS friends is more fun, that's what.

I just wanted to thank everyone that I got to meet from here and hang out with all weekend. You all made this fest special and even more fun than last years, my first.

It was wonderful to meet you, borgosi!  I really enjoyed chatting with you after hours in the corridor/bar, and since the Fest, I've enjoyed seeing your photos.  I hope to see you again next year!

I had stayed away from DS fandom for 8 years, but I'm delighted to say I had a GREAT time upon my return last week.
There were a lot of new & very cool people.
Everyone was open & tolerant, it was GREAT!
