I know this is kinda off-topic, but wondering what it was like serving the spirits back in '67 made me nostalgic. Where I grew up, it was not illegal, for example, for a minor to enter a bar; you just couldn't serve 'em booze. My uncle and aunt owned a neighborhood bar, one of those mom-and-pop establishments, and we use to go there all the time, pulling ourselves up on the stools, and would have soda, chips and candy. There were times when parents would also send us to the bar on a hot summer day to pick up a six-pack of beer (always bottled, never canned) and bring it back home for them. No one ever gave it a second thought - ten-year-olds buying beer. Life was a heckuva lot more innocent and trusting back then.
