Recommending DS DVD to Buffy fans

I noticed that the Dark Shadows DVD pre-orders are doing pretty well on Amazon as far as sales rank.  Doing much better is Buffy the Vampire Slayer The Complete Second Season on DVD, which is also available for pre-order.

It struck me that fans of Buffy might also like DS, so I entered the first DS DVD set as a recommendation on Amazon's listings for both Buffy Season One and Season Two.

An easy way to get the word out and help build a larger fan base for DS would be for you to also go to Amazon and recommend DS Set 1 as well.  If you are a registered user on Amazon, you can go to the listings for both seasons of Buffy on DVD and add your recommendation for DS.  It displays the total number of recommendations for each item and also ranks them.  (I would definitely recommend DS "IN ADDITION" to Buffy and not "INSTEAD" of Buffy.)

All you need is the ASIN number for the DS DVD box set to make the recommendation.  The ASIN is B000060MVN.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.   :-)

Thank you for that wonderful idea!

Since I ended up having to order the 1st season of Buffy on Amazon because it kept selling out in my area, I already pre-ordered the 2nd season.  Buffy is my favorite current show-- I'm on pins and needles waiting for next week's finale!-- and of course DS is my favorite of all time. :D

Yeah, DS is my favorite show too!  

I'm pretty new to Buffy and have been hooked since I recently bought the first season.  A lot of what happens on Buffy has already been done on DS (vamps, witches, etc. etc.), but the approach and writing is fresh and makes it a great watch unto itself.
