DS Fest mentioned on sitcom

I usually fall asleep watching reruns of Sex & the City and when I woke up to turn the TV off, I heard two men discussing the Dark Shadows Fest & how he couldn't go now that he had a girlfriend. I listened for about 5 min while the talked about DS. Don't have a clue as to what show it was. I think it was Tuesday night.
I've been enjoying this forum.

Hey bluedog! That was an episode of King of Queens. I know there's a thread pertaining to it somewhere. At the end of the show the character Spence, who wanted to go to the con, is shown wearing his Barnabas costume.

Arashi,
Thanks for the link. I guess I missed that sitcom the first time around.
