No; Joe and the Jenningses are related through their fathers (the Jennings mother is Quentin's descendant).  This question has come up before and I think someone once even posted a family tree to illustrate the relationship.

I don't believe it was ever mentioned either way, but I wouldn't be surprised if Nathan had some offspring in Collinsport that he wasn't aware of.
