Okay boys & girls...haven't been on all week (nor watched until today).

A week ago, I posted saying about Vicki being engaged to Barnabas.

So today, I was listening to Vicki say...."We were on our way together..." or some such thing.

How did Barn & Vicki get so close so quick?

But later, I was out of the room & could only hear... the music when Peter gives Dr. L the 'item' he collected!!

Hi Patti,  Barnabas was getting real paranoid over Vicky's trip to the past and he felt that she surely must have discovered his secret. He then took it upon himself to bite her, not once mind you, but twice! After that they were supposidly eloping together, that is, until Peter Bradford/Jeff Clark suddenly "appeared"  on the side of the rode.

I thought they were just going up 2 the cemetary. Nice, normal visit to your cemetary before you elope. Good way to bond! Oh yeah, visit your local cemetary, folks!

And ya know what else I didn't understand?? ["there's more!? AHHHH!!!"] When Carolyn snuck up on Barnabus [literally! OMG that was soo funny] when he was about 2 rip up Angelique's painting, and she was like, "Don't use me anymore, you love Vicki." I was like   HE DOES?? When on earth was *that* mentioned? I know he *lusts* 4 her maybe, because he wants 2 make her in2 his Josette, but does he love her?? *re* This show is so horrible about people loving each other. Really. Ugh.

Someone once said that DS was mostly about unrequited love.  Barnabas loved Vicki, who didn't return it; Julia loved Barnabas, who didn't return it; Angelique loved Barnabas, who didn't return it--you get the picture.  

Vicki didn't even seem all that in "thrall" with Barnabas, not like Willie or even Maggie, who seemed to need constant "shots" to the throat to be back in his power.  Vicki was way more concerned about her own concerns about having been to the past than she was about Barnabas; that's why they were going to the cemetery in the first place.  That she even defied the vampire that way was highly unusual, right?  And now that Peter/Jeff is back in her life and those bite marks are gone from her throat, you know where Vicki's heart is going to go now.
