Yes, I would miss the convenience of
my cell phone, but I think it's a plus that in 1795 you could eat, shop, wait, walk, etc. without the person next to you shouting a one-way conversation.
When you all come out for the Fest you'll see what I mean. Most Angelenos have had phones surgically implanted onto their faces and they're not afraid to use them.
