...something Dark Shadowish pops up. I work in a classroom with CD (Cognitively Disabled) teenagers, and quite often we will have the local school district public access channel on the television, primarily because it plays background "contemporary" music (what many call "elevator" music, but I label as "dentist office" music). On the screen, announcements flash. I was busy working with one of the kids when my ears perked up to hear a dentist office version of - what else? - Quentin's Theme. I haven't heard it played on the radio for years and years and suddenly, here it was. The thing is, the source of the music on the public access channel is not from a radio station, but from a computer music CD found in the offices of the school district. Just how it got such a CD is beyond me. Maybe it was from somebody - or something - from beyond. After all, the district offices (as well as the high school) were recently constructed on a swamp. Who knows what lurked there before?
