With apologies to John Cleese in that classic episode of "Fawlty Towers," where the totally exasperated Basil Fawlty was trying to communicate with a grumpy (not to mention unbelievably cheap) hotel guest, who had her hearing aid turned all the way down (to save the batteries, of course).  [ghost_huh]  [ghost_grin]
