Alec Newman has had such a great year.  With a new movie due out next month, he's poised to continue making a name for himself.  If only one of them could be Barnabas Collins, <sigh>.

Happy 30th, Alec.  As your father sang, la la how the life goes on.  ;)

Ah, turning 30 - I remember it well. ::sigh:: (I also remember the gifts I received that year, the majority of which I couldn't even begin to go into here.  ;D  Turning 40, on the other hand, was so much more sedate, not to mention downright boring, with gifts like "Over-the-Hill" T shirts, mugs - even pencils, and Simply Soothing Sanity Saving Tea.  :o  What were my friends and family thinking?! So, considering that I've still got about a year and a half to go, maybe I should start lobbying for my 50th's gifts now.  ;))

Turning 50 wasn't so bad.  I simply warned everyone who might possibly want to remind me of the event that murder and mayhem would ensue if they were foolhardy enough to mention it.

Worked like a charm..... ;)

51, on the other hand, was a bitch..... >:(
