I
FINALLY! received my Alfred Hitchcock collections.
Some of the films: "Lady Vanishes", "39 Steps" (I've seen LV enough, & I already own "39 Steps").
I see that there's "Man Who Knew Too Much" with Leslie Howard!!
I also see a movie I've only slightly heard of & never seen, "Jamaica Inn" starring her beauty, Maureen O'Hara (I *think* this was her debut).
Some technical 'oddities';
There are 5 black cases to hold movies; the cases have no artwork. Also, if each disc has 3 movies, you don't have the ability to view the 3rd if you want, it will only let you go to first film (and I guess FF to 3rd).
Fritz Lang did a rendition of Man too Much, right?
Does anyone know where I can buy a used (re: cheaper) disc of Doctor Mabuse?
Thanks,
Patti
DUH....here's what I also NEEDED to say. On FB, it asks what movies you've seen. One of mine is "The Old Dark House", starring Melvyn Douglas, Boris Karloff & Chas. Laughton. This morning, on my movies, it's something in Spanish & it's not old looking. From the words, it *may* be a 'dark house' type movie. I'm scared to click it.....any suggestions?
