Amnesia Recovery:  A memory for Annie
« on: March 24, 2002, 06:11:12 AM »
How could I have forgotten this?

Anne, I remembered this today and thought I must share it with you. . . I was watching The Matrix with my roommate.  I started talking about how I hate that I love that movie .. I'm a big non-Keanu believer.  My roommate started ranting about his "acting" in Much Ado About Nothing with Kenneth Branaugh and Emma Thompson. . .I then recalled, quite suddenly. . .in the early 1990s when I lived in Washington, D. C.  I was an usher at the Lansburg Theatre, home of D.C.'s Shakespeare Company.  I ushered there for two performances of Much Ado About Nothing starring Kelly McGillis (Top Gun) and . . .. [shadow=red,left,300]David Selby![/shadow]  I can't believe I forgot that!  He was very wonderful. .quite humorous and very agile.  My memory is of one scene where is he eavesdropping on a conversation by hanging in a grape arbor. . .the audience was beside themselves with laughter.  .what a pleasant little memory to recover.  :o :o
